Accessibility

Built for everyone.

Last reviewed: May 2026

Eda is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site and continually improve where we fall short.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML structure with descriptive headings and landmarks.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators throughout.
  • Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA standards on all text.
  • Alternative text on all meaningful images, and empty alt for decorative ones.
  • Forms with clear labels and validation messages.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion user setting — animations are disabled when you request it.
  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.

Where we may fall short

We know we’re not perfect. Areas we’re actively improving:

  • Some embedded third-party content (Google Maps) may not match the same standard.
  • Older photography in our galleries may not yet have descriptive alt text — we’re working through this.

Tell us about issues

If you find anything that doesn’t work for you, please let us know — we’ll fix it. Email eda@una.co or call 07523 266 796 and we’ll get back to you within one working day.

Visiting in person

The Eda building is step-free from street to apartment, with lift access to every floor. Amenity spaces (gym, cinema, co-working, garden terrace) are all accessible. If you have specific access needs for a tour, mention them when you book and we’ll make sure everything is ready for you.
